Analysis

equipment can be integrated into existing systems. Few have the general system.
Why? Companies
using bar code or planning to should perform an audit to make sure that:
 | They are not wasting money labeling products
that should be labeled by the supplier. And that they know how to get suppliers
to comply with industry standards.
 | Systems that are in place are using the
latest cost-cutting or time-saving improvements.
 | They have not or will not automate activities
in receiving, shipping, inventory taking and accounting that, in fact, can be
eliminated.
 | They know how to explain system or equipment
needs to the bar code related system supplier.
 | They know how to make their staff, their
company, their system and their trading partners (customers and suppliers) ready
to use bar code and electronic commerce.
 | They know how to evaluate the capabilities of
a perspective supplier of bar code related hardware, software or systems. |
